The Word and The Spirit | Pastor Alex Pappas

In this sermon, Pastor Alex shared how we are called to walk in both the Word and the Spirit, just as God modeled from the very beginning. Jesus Himself, the Word made flesh, didn’t begin His ministry until the Spirit came upon Him. The early church lived the same way, moving in power because the Word and the Spirit worked hand-in-hand.
When the Spirit breathes on the Word, boldness rises, lives change, and transformation follows. The Word without the Spirit becomes dry, and the Spirit without the Word becomes disorderly—but together they produce holy fire.
If we want real growth, real maturity, and real transformation, we need both. The Word renews our mind, the Spirit empowers our life, and together they make us more like Jesus.
