Do I really need to get baptized? Is it really that important? What if I was sprinkled as a child?
Pastor Alex showed us the importance of water baptism. Baptism means to be submerged and there is so much significance in the submersion.
We see through the book of Acts a pattern of the early church. When the Gospel went out and those who heard placed their faith in Jesus, they were immediately baptized. It wasn’t optional.
There is power in going under. There is significance in going under. We are publicly declaring our faith in Christ, are baptized into his death, and arise a new creation.
If you have placed your faith in Christ, why are you waiting? Leave it all in the water!
